I was adopted at birth and recently found my birth mother and that side of the family. Shortly after that I learned that my biological father was a sword swallower in the circus! Can you imagine my surprise at THAT tidbit of information? The revelation didn't exactly fit my rather romanticized image of a hero who helped cure incurable diseases and such. lol .....although I suppose, being in the circus, he COULD have ridden a white steed......... :o) I was raised by a wonderful Swedish family and always knew that I was in a great place. I had love, security, education, travel....lucky girl! I have an artistic spirit. I'm a musician and a potter, but my degree is in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement. I went back to get my BA when I was in my 50's and absolutely loved it! I was a much better student than I was when I was in my 20's! I worked REALLY hard at my studies and it did pay off with a good GPA. Rather proud of that.
